Outreach Ministry Opportunities
“Every Member a Witness”
Dawson Street Baptist Church takes seriously the Great Commission of Christ found in Matthew 28:18-20. We are to be witnesses for Him wherever we are (Acts 1:8). This is why we want every member to know how to share their faith in Christ and His love for them with others. We are committed to providing many wonderful opportunities for each member to do just this. As a member of this church family we trust you will be involved in reaching out to others with the love of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Sunday School Visitation:
Monthly: Sunday afternoon 4-6 p.m.
Women's Missions & Ministry Groups:
Mildred Northcut (senior ladies) ~ 2nd Monday of each month
Wortlie Night (senior ladies) ~ 2nd Tuesday of each month
Salt & Light (senioradult ladies) ~ 2nd Thursday of each month
Whispers of Hope (young ladies) ~ Monthly
Hearts On Fire (median adult ladies) ~ Monthly
Huggers Ministry Team:
Anywhere from outreach to our shut-ins. ~ Assignments made monthly
Children’s Mission Activities:
Wednesday nights @ 6:30 p.m.
Royal Ambassadors ~ Grades 1-6
Girls in Action ~ Grades 1-6
Mission Friends ~ Ages 2-5
Church Mission Trips:

Even years - Adults on Mission
Odd years - Youth on Mission
